When it comes to holiday hours, we often forget that there are holidays beyond Christmas and Thanksgiving where places like Chick-fil-A might be closed or operating with reduced hours. And while many stores and restaurants are open across most holidays, there are always exceptions to that rule.

With both banks and the United States Postal Service being closed on Columbus Day (or Indigenous People’s Day), we decided to see whether or not Chick-fil-A would be open and if they are, whether or not they would be operating under holiday hours.

So what did we find out about Chick-fil-A’s holiday hours on Columbus Day?

Will Chick-fil-A be open on Columbus Day 2022?

Right off the bat we can say that Chick-fil-A will be open on Columbus Day. Much like most holidays (not including Christmas or Thanksgiving and any holiday that lands on a Sunday), the fast food chicken chain will be opening their doors for fans of their chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and more.

However, as NJ.com posted,

"Most locations will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, store hours vary by location, so guests should ultimately check with their local Chick-fil-A."

This makes perfect sense to us! On most holidays where they are open they may operate under reduced hours, especially if they are a franchise location. And if your local restaurant is in fact celebrating Columbus Day, you may want to call ahead to confirm either what time they are opening or even what time they will be closing.

No matter what though, it looks like if you want Chick-fil-A on October 10, you are in luck. It’s just about making sure that their hours haven’t changed.
