Taco Bell announces Loaded TRUFF Nacho Fries

Sometimes it feels like every fast food chain has that one menu item that the fans clamor for and can’t wait to see make a comeback. For McDonald’s it’s the McRib, for Popeyes it is their Fish Sandwich and for Taco Bell it’s their Nacho Fries.

Nacho Fries have been on and off the menu at The Bell for years with each reappearance a cause for celebration for the Taco Bell faithful. And it thrills us to let them know that they should get ready to party because they are coming back once again.

According to the press email we received here at Guilty Eats HQ, Taco Bell is bringing back Nacho Fries for a limited time on October 13. And they are introducing a brand new version with them that will put a definite zip in your step.

Taco Bell teams up with TRUFF for a brand new version of classic Nacho Fries.

Staring this Wednesday, Nacho Fries will once again be available for you to enjoy. They will run you $1.79 for an order or you can get the Nacho Fries Box, which includes all kinds of taco goodness for $5.49.

And after a successful test last year, you will also be able to get the brand new Loaded TRUFF Nacho Fries. It includes a bed of fries doused liberally with TRUFF Truffle Hot Sauce and then topped with grilled marinated steak, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, nacho cheese and sour cream.

For those not in the know, TRUFF Truffle Hot Sauce is a mix of black truffles and red chili peppers blended to a creamy, smooth sauce. And if you use the Taco Bell app, you will be able to add some to any menu item for just a buck.

Nick Guillen, the co-Founder and co-CEO of TRUFF, sounds pretty excited about the new item.
