Food Network has good news for fans of Bobby Flay and his newest series, Bobby’s Triple Threat. The culinary competition is getting a Season 2.

It’s been an interesting year for Bobby Flay. From the news at the end of 2021 that the celebrity chef would be leaving Food Network to the news that he had signed a new contract with the network that would see multiple shows being developed over the next few years. Well 2022 had definitely been the year of Flay shows.

On September 27, Bobby’s Triple Threat debuted with three titans stepping up to prove their culinary expertise. And with just three episodes under their belt (as of our reporting), it looks like Food Network is ready for even more of the titans and Bobby Flay.

Food Network renews Bobby’s Triple Threat for a second season

According to Variety,

"With just two weeks under its belt, the series is beating ratings benchmarks set in the prior six-week and year-earlier periods, and stands as the Discovery Warner Bros.-backed outlet’s highest-rated new launch."

It’s because of the show’s success in the ratings that it makes perfect sense that they would decide to go ahead and renew the series for a second season which will debut in 2023. The show brings everything we want in a culinary competition – amazing chefs, competitive cooking, and multiple Food Network stars.

The news was shared by Flay himself on social media, with Brooke Williamson (one of his titans) also posting the news with a thanks to the viewers who have tuned in to watch the new series.

And now we can only hope that all three of the titans will return for that second season. Of course, we still have the rest of Season 1 to enjoy, and if you haven’t been watching, the first three episodes are available right now on Discovery Plus for streaming.

We are pretty excited by this renewal news, but what do you think fellow foodies?
