Did you know that October is officially National Dessert Month? And in honor of all things sweet treats, we are looking to the Grand Lux Cafe menu for some tasty inspiration.

When it comes to delicious meals and sweet treats, what comes to mind? For us there are a few restaurants that always deliver. And Grand Lux Cafe is definitely one of those restaurants. While we don’t always think of them as a dessert destination, we absolutely should.

As a sister restaurant to the Cheesecake Factory, it makes sense that they would have some amazing desserts on their menu. So what are we ordering from Grand Lux Cafe when it comes to dessert?

First let’s just talk about what makes the desserts at Grand Lux Cafe so special. Did you know that they offer,

• Molten Chocolate Cake – Can you ever go wrong with a chocolate cake that has a melty interior and is served with fresh vanilla ice cream? (We think not.)
• New Orleans Beignets – We love beignets and we love that you get an order of three with dipping sauces to take those beignets to the next level.
• Warm Rustic Apple Pie – There is something comforting about apple pie. And this is especially true in the Fall.
• Key Lime Pie – Take a vacation, even in your mind, with the help of a fresh slice of key lime pie. We love this southern staple and we can’t help but love every bite of this delicious pie.
• “The Best” Carrot Cake – If you love carrot cake, then you need to give this one a try. Even those of us who often pick every cake but the carrot cake first love the way this delicious cake with its citrusy frosting tastes.
