If Food Network has crowned their Halloween Baking Championship winner, then every foodie worth their gingerbread knows what that means. A new season of Holiday Baking Championship can’t be far behind.
The flagship of the cable network’s Baking Championship series is officially back for a ninth season beginning on November 7. The new year brings back fan favorite host Jesse Palmer as well as the judges you know and love, Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall.
Ove the course of eight episodes 12 brand new holiday bakers compete to see who can walk away with the $25,000 prize, a piece in Food Network magazine and most importantly, the title of Holiday Baking Champion.
Holiday Baking Championship premieres with a special two-hour episode.
For those who may not be aware or have been living in the North Pole, here’s the skinny on Holiday Baking Championship. The 12 bakers begin each episode by competing in the Pre-Heat which will normally give the victor some kind of advantage going into the Main Heat. After the Main Heat, one baker is told to pack up their sheet pans while the rest advance to the next week.
And so it goes until the winner is named and there is much celebration in the foodie universe. Football fans have the Super Bowl, we have Holiday Baking Championship.
In addition, this season Carla Hall will be giving everyone some baking and holiday decorating tips over on the show’s webpage. And if you follow #HolidayBakingChampionship on social media, you can get ever more tips and tricks from the judges as well.
Season 9 of Holiday Baking Championship arrives on Monday, November 7 at 8 PM on Food Network and Discovery Plus. Get some eggnog and cookies and get ready for some holiday fun.
