Over the course of 100 years, Wonder Bread has become an iconic brand that everyone knows and loves. Trying to find someone who hasn’t had the grocery staple at least once is likely harder than finding someone who doesn’t like bacon on a cheeseburger.

Of course, for any brand with that much history, finding new and interesting ways to connect with the public can be tough. By now you’ve usually done everything you possibly could to raise the awareness level of your product.

So when in doubt, you think outside the box. Or in this case, you build a giant float and drive it straight through the Big Apple on Thanksgiving Day.

Wonder Bread is bringing the “Wondership” to New York for Thanksgiving.

That’s right. Wonder Bread has announced that they are going to be taking part in the 96th edition of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. To celebrate their debut, they have created a one of a kind float for the occasion.

Called “The Wondership” the float uses the brand’s original marketing idea behind the name, inspiring wonder and joy, for it’s inspiration. It will look like an airship that’s built out of white bread and is powered by, of all things, confetti.

It will also include red, yellow and blue balloons and every indication is that it will be very hard to miss as it makes its way through New York City.

You’ll be able to see The Wondership and all the rest of the annual floats and massive balloons on Thanksgiving Day when the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins on 9 AM on NBC as well as streaming on Peacock.
