Taco Bell is known for having some delectable items. For the most part, though, the chain decides to bring back favorites and take them away at a whim.

However, Taco Bell took that to a different level this year. Rather than bring back two beloved items, they had Taco Bell rewards members vote on two favorites. The two choices were the Double Decker Taco and the Enchirito.

The results were close, but the Enchirito edged out the Double Decker Taco and the restaurant decided to bring back the Enchirito. However, it was only for a limited time )which is only until November 30, 2022)

With the Enchirito now back on the menu, the reviews are in and frankly, they aren’t great.

The latest Taco Bell LTO item, Enchirito is meeting mixed reviews from fans.

If you didn’t know, the Enchirito is a mix between a burrito and an enchilada. It’s basically just a burrito with some cheese and red sauce on top. It’s served in a tray as an enchilada would be instead of a wrapper like a burrito. Even so, Taco Bell lovers aren’t loving the resurgence of the Enchirito.

According to some Redditors, the Enchirito wasn’t worth all of the hype. There have been complaints about it being smaller than it was marketed as and some of them weren’t even being rolled. While I do think some of those complaints can be remedied, it does feel like the Enchrito wasn’t worth the hype and as someone who preferred the Double Decker Taco, I will say that I’m not surprised.

Regardless of the reviews, I know that some Taco Bell fans will either want to try the Enchirito for the first time or revisit it almost a decade later. Either way, it’s up to you if you’re willing to ignore the reviews and take a chance. Even if you don’t end up going to Taco Bell for an Enchirito, there are still plenty of options there for you.
