For those out there unable to be home for the holiday, it’s necessary to still guarantee a great meal is had on the day reserved for giving thanks, but what restaurants are open on Thanksgiving this year (November 24th, 2022)—and more specifically, is the Outback Steakhouse open?

And hey, we also have to think of those that don’t celebrate the holiday, too. For them it’s just a Thursday and they surely need to eat, so knowing what’s open and/or closed will sure help before setting out to a specific location.

Is the Outback Steakhouse closed this Thanksgiving?

To get back to the point, why the Outback specifically? Well…because finding a great place to dine on that day is important, especially if you do want to clasp hands and say a little ‘thank you’ for all you’ve been given. And one such place for a hearty meal is of course the Outback Steakhouse.

They’ve got one heck of a menu, as we’ve been though, dear readers, and it’s not all about the steak, trust me. But a Thanksgiving style meal can sure be enjoyed at the steakhouse known to millions across North America, and literally enjoyed by just as many.

Now you won’t get turkey, but there are a plethora of other items to choose from, but before we start getting a bit too much ahead of ourselves here, and going so far as planning an entire thanksgiving menu at the Outback, we need to answer one very important question here: Is it even open on thanksgiving?

Well, sorry to be the bearer of bad news…(also equally sorry for insinuating that a Thanksgiving menu was in fact a possibility under the roof of the popular steakhouse…my bad, as they say), but as it turns out, the oh-so-popular casual dining restaurant chain is in actual fact, CLOSED on Thanksgiving, as stated on the holidayschedule.com.

Well, this is awkward and there’s no better way to end this, dear readers than to say…Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. (Nervous laughter ensues….)

But to turn that frown upside down, I’ll change the subject: Any great family Thanksgiving traditions any of you dear readers would like to share; maybe even from dining out on the special day?
