Is Waffle House open for Thanksgiving Day 2022?

When it comes to a delicious breakfast stop, Waffle House can be a great stop, especially on a road trip. But what happens when a holiday rolls around?

For some of us, just because it is Thanksgiving, that doesn’t mean that we have plans for turkey dinners and pumpkin pie desserts. Sometimes we need or want a chance to get out of the house and enjoy a holiday meal that we didn’t have to cook.

So this leaves us with the big question of whether or not our Thanksgiving plans include a trip to Waffle House.

Is Waffle House closed for Thanksgiving Day 2022?

If you have ever eaten at a Waffle House in the middle of the night then you may not be surprised by the news that the restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Considering many locations are open 24 hours, the chain is actually known for being open 365 days (366 during a Leap Year).

As Country Living wrote,

"Waffles? On Thanksgiving? It may sound too good to be true, but that’s exactly what Waffle House will be serving up. The chain is open 365 days a year."

Over the years, we have relied on Waffle House to be a lot like the Post Office – open rain or shine, through snowstorms and more. And while the Post Office may not have the same hours as the restaurant, the concept is still the same in that Waffle House is known for being rather reliable when it comes to being open for a warm meal and cold drink.

And this Thanksgiving, if you are looking for a delicious breakfast or something different for dinner (burgers anyone?), then this might just be the perfect choice this holiday.
