Sometimes you don’t want turkey on Thanksgiving. Maybe you want a burger or a fried chicken sandwich. And that leads us to looking for alternatives like Burger King for our dinner needs.

Considering we are big fans of the Whopper (it is a classic) and the Bacon King (can you ever go wrong with bacon?), it makes sense that we are all about that Burger King life. But what happens when the urge for a Whopper with fries or onion rings hits on Thanksgiving Day?

Will we be able to get a Bacon King, onion rings, or a Whopper with Cheese on Thanksgiving Day?

Is Burger King closed on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

Technically, the answer is yes they are open. But not every restaurant will be open and in a lot of cases, they will be operating with reduced hours according to The Holiday Schedule.

And while many sites are saying that Burger King is open, we know of quite a few restaurants that have posted their holiday schedule with Thanksgiving being a day that they will be completely closed (this means both the drive-thru and the lobby).

So knowing that there will be Burger King locations that are closed, we definitely recommend calling before heading out to your closest restaurant. Of course, it all depends on where you live, and even how many locations are near you, which is why we definitely recommend checking ahead for any change in their hours of operation or if they are opening at all.

Of course, if you can handle waiting, they will once again be open for their normal business hours on Black Friday (November 25), so you can snag that Whopper and French Fries you were craving.
