Is McDonald’s open on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

While we don’t often think of fast food for the holidays, that doesn’t mean that we don’t want McDonald’s on Thanksgiving Day. Whether it is their McCafe drinks, an egg McMuffin, or even a Big Mac, there is something about McDonald’s that has us ready to hit the drive thru no matter what day it may be.

And sometimes you just want hot and fresh French fries. When that happens, you want McDonald’s fries because they may just be the best of the fast food bunch.

So what happens when those cravings for cheeseburgers, fountain drinks, and hot and salty French fries hit on Thanksgiving Day? Well then you find out whether or not McDonald’s is actually open.

Is McDonald’s closed on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

For the most part we are in luck fellow burger lovers. McDonald’s will be open on Thanksgiving Day according to The Pioneer Woman blog. That being said, we do like to point out that there are locations that will be closed for the holiday (at least based on our own past experiences and some of the holiday hour signs we have seen posted).

We highly recommend checking the McDonald’s app for your local restaurant. You can also call ahead to make sure that the location closest to you is in fact open.

On top of some locations being closed, we do know that there are locations that will be operating under holiday hours, so that is another thing you will want to be mindful of. But in general, it is good news for people looking to enjoy some chicken nuggets, burgers, and those golden fries.

So if you want to shake things up on Thanksgiving Day, you are in luck.
