Is Whole Foods open on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

Are you looking to get out of the house on Thanksgiving morning to snag some supplies or grab a non-turkey related snack? You may be considering a trip to the closest Whole Foods.

Last year we did a Whole Foods run just to get out of the house (we weren’t doing anything special for the holiday) and to pick up some muffins and a few other odds and ends to enjoy in place of a classic turkey dinner. At the time, it was clear that many of the people in store were doing last minute grocery runs for things to round out Thanksgiving dinner.

Now that we are in 2022, we wanted to make sure that we would be able to once again make a trip to Whole Foods, even if we didn’t necessarily need anything for a holiday dinner.

Is Whole Foods closed on Thanksgiving day 2022?

And guess what fellow Whole Foods fan? We are in luck! Whole Foods stores will once again be open on Thanksgiving Day.

According to ABC News,

"The supermarket chain opens with modified hours on Thanksgiving Day."

So while they may be open, they won’t be operating with their normal hours. And that’s okay. We appreciate the fact that they are opening their doors at all on Thanksgiving.

Knowing that they will have reduced hours, we definitely recommend checking with your local store before heading over just in case they are closing earlier than you are used to. When we went last year, we knew they were going to be open but we still called ahead to check what time they were opening as well as when they would be closing.
