Somehow, Chips Ahoy! has been around for 60 years (when did that happen??) and they are celebrating by giving us a new cookie flavor. That’s a pretty good birthday gift, right? And the new flavor is all about celebration and confetti.

The new Chips Ahoy! cookie flavor is Confetti Cake. It consists of the classic chewy chocolate chip cookie with the addition of colorful rainbow confetti sprinkles. Nothing says birthday like confetti sprinkles. And who doesn’t love a confetti cake for their birthday? Even as an adult, it’s fun!

Unfortunately, the cookies aren’t available quite yet. You will start to see them in stores starting in January and the family-size cookie pack will be $4.99. Even if you don’t have a family living in your house, no worries. More cookies for you!

I was lucky enough to try these new cookies already and they are delicious. What could be wrong with a chewy chocolate chip cookie with rainbow sprinkles? Absolutely nothing. And if you don’t want to eat them on their own, they would be perfect to use for small ice cream sandwiches. You can even get some extra rainbow sprinkles to put around the sides.

You could even pick up some confetti frosting at the store and smear some of that on the bottom of the cookies and then press them together. The possibilities are endless.
