23. Minnesota

Featured Dish: Pheasant Stew

Three Words to Describe It: Innovative, Unique, Meaty

Pheasant is something that is really popular to hunt up in Minnesota. While I’m not sure where exactly, my dad used to hunt pheasant with my grandpa when he was a kid. One time, they had a family friend make some Pheasant Stew for them and he said that it tasted super delicious! I researched a few different recipes and some said to add bacon, carrots, celery, potatoes, and even more delicious and hearty meal additions to round up this warm and perfectly Wintery meal!

Have you tried this delicious holiday treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

Featured Dish: Pecan Pie Cheesecake

Three Words to Describe It: New, Rich, Nutty

Everyone knows how to make a Pecan Pie and everyone knows what it tastes like. But have you ever had a Pecan Pie Cheesecake?! When I found a ton of different recipes for this, I was super intrigued. You would think that adding the already super sweet Pecan Pie on top of some delicious and creamy cheesecake would be too rich, and while it very well may be to some people, can you really ever have too much of anything around the holidays? The answer, my friends, is no way!
