The best Christmas foods in all 50 states
27. Nebraska
Featured Dish: Mocha Yule Log
Three Words to Describe It: Creamy, Soft, Delicious
Yule Logs are super popular around the holidays. There literally isn’t a single flavor that you simply couldn’t make into a Yule Log, which is why I precisely included a mocha-flavored one. It’s got your perfect balance of coffee to chocolate flavor ratios, as well as some delicious and ever-so-decadent whipped cream frosting, and of course being topped with only the cutest Christmas decorations that you ever did see! In my family, we also love a good Raspberry Whip one too!
Have you tried this delicious holiday treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!
28. Nevada
Featured Dish: Sopa de Res
Three Words to Describe It: Warm, Hearty, “Different”
You might be thinking to yourself why we included such an authentic Hispanic recipe to this list. Well, folks, given that Nevada and New Mexico are so close to each other, we just had to include some of their iconic flavors. So, a traditional Sopa de Res includes the following elements: beef broth, carrots, squash, corn, cabbage, and potatoes. Sounds great to me! Eat up, folks!
