29. New Hampshire

Featured Dish: Pumpkin Bars

Three Words to Describe It: Creamy, Delicious, Innovative

We all know and love Pumpkin Pie, but how boring and basic is that, am I right?! Let’s elevate that just a little bit more, why don’t we! Let’s make some Pumpkin Bars! You can either make your traditional Pumpkin Pie and make it in a bar-style pan or you can go the route of Pumpkin Cheesecake or even some sort of Pumpkin Biscuit Crumble Bar as well! Literally, the possibilities are endless here, but all I know is that whatever is made will be delicious! Thoughts?

Have you tried this delicious holiday treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

30. New Jersey

Featured Dish: Cioppino

Three Words to Describe It: Italian, Classic, Hearty

Of course, given the high concentration of New Jersey’s Italian population, we just had to include something of that origin. Enter in Cioppino. What is that, you may be asking yourself? Well, let’s take a look at what a traditional Cioppino consists of: cod fish, tomato-based soup broth, muscles (or other seafood enjoyed by your family/guests), fennel, cloves, white clams, scallops/shrimp, Italian parsley, other spices of choice to taste. Perfect for the classic feats of 7 fishes for Italians!
