Featured Dish: “Candy Cane” Coffee Cakes
Three Words to Describe It: Festive, Cute, Sweet
No, we don’t actually mean a coffee cake flavored like a candy cane (although that would be super delicious). We mean just by the shape! One of the most popular recipes that I came across was an Apricot Jam Candy Cane Coffee Cake (see recipe from Taste of Home)! Apricot flavored desserts in my personal opinion are super underrated – I mean come on haven’t you ever had an Apricot Kolacky?! Creamy, tangy, fruity, and delicious, right? Shape these with kids for some added fun!
Have you tried this delicious holiday treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

Featured Dish: Peanut Butter Pie
Three Words to Describe It: Creamy, Rich, Delicious
Peanut Butter Pie just sounds super delicious, yet really creamy and rich, am I right? The closest that I’ve ever come to eating or trying PB pie was when Oreos came out with their Chocolate PB Pie flavor, and those are definitely high up on the list of all-time Oreo flavors for me. As long as their aren’t large amounts or any bits of chocolate on it, then by all means, our pups can also enjoy this alongside with us this holiday season! Make it, eat it, enjoy it, share it with the dog!!
