Featured Dish: Classic Beef Stew

Three Words to Describe It: Meaty, Hearty, Warming

Beef Stew is definitely one of those one-pot meals that can just almost instantly warm you up on any given cold Winter night (or morning for some delicious leftovers). A nice hearty stew can either be served as more of a ‘first course’ sort of deal as the ‘soup’ portion of it or if you’re feeling extra fancy and extra hearty, it can also be the main course as well. Imagine a nice big ole bowl of Beef Stew alongside some of your favorite holiday sides. Can’t get any better than that, now can it?

Have you tried this delicious holiday treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

Featured Dish: Country Fried Steak

Three Words to Describe It: Delicious, Iconic, Hearty

This particular dish is probably one of the most surprising dishes on this list. Country Fried Steak is probably one of my top breakfast things to order whenever I go out to breakfast. It’s such a hearty meal, a creamy delicious gravy on top of a the crispiest fried steak cutlet. I mean, this is such a southern thing to serve at a holiday meal, but let me tell ya, it’s also super tempting to ditch the traditional meats completely and serve this up instead. Anybody else with me?!
