Taco Bell testing three new $2 Grilled Chicken Burritos

You gotta love Taco Bell. It’s apparently not enough that fans of the iconic fast food chain are almost cultish in their frenzy and loyalty to the brand. They are evidently determined to get everyone else on the bus too by offering, of all things, great deals on food.

Now, it’s already widely known that you can go into any Taco Bell with a twenty and come out with a huge bag of food. The $5 Cravings Box is almost legendary in fast food circles. But now, if what is being reported is true, they are taking “cheap” to another level and adding lots of variety.

According to the Taco Tuesday lovers at Chewboom, The Bell is testing a brand new $2 Grilled Chicken Burrito in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. And not only that, they are available in not one, not two, but three different versions.

Taco Bell $2 Grilled Chicken Burritos will be available until January 4, 2023.

The original $2 Grilled Chicken Burrito includes grilled chicken, seasoned rice, red sauce, a three-cheese blend of cheese and sour cream all wrapped up tight in a warm flour tortilla.

The $2 Cheesy Chipotle Chicken Burrito includes everything the original version has but swpas out the red sauce for a creamy Chipotle sauce.

Finally the $2 Chicken Poblano Caesar Burrito includes grilled chicken, fiesta tortilla chips, a roasted poblano Caesar sauce, cheddar cheese as well as lettuce and tomato.

All three will set you back a whopping two bucks (as is indicated right in the name) and will be available in the Charlotte area from now until January 4, 2023. Will they arrive anywhere else down the road? It seems like a safe bet considering how Taco Bell always seems to listen to what their fans want.
