Is Chick-fil-A open on Christmas Day 2022?

Just because it is a holiday, it doesn’t mean you don’t want chicken. And sometimes you want chicken from Chick-fil-A! From their sandwiches to their nuggets, sometimes you just want a more simple meal, even if it is a holiday like Christmas.

The thing about Chick-fil-A is that they are always closed on Sundays, which so many of us know and expect. This means that when holidays fall on a Sunday, we pretty much always have our answer as to whether or not the restaurant chain will be open.

Considering Christmas Day falls on a Sunday in 2022, the answer is yes, Chick-fil-A is closed. But that being said, it wouldn’t matter what day of the week it was, the restaurant is always closed on Christmas Day.

In fact, according to the chain’s “Who We Are” page,

"All U.S. Chick-fil-A® restaurants are closed on the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, so our restaurant teams can spend time with family and friends. To make sure you have food for your celebration, be sure to order Chick-fil-A Catering and schedule pickup or delivery before the holiday."

Honestly, we often forget that we can schedule a larger order from Chick-fil-A for the holidays or even get a catering order to fill our needs. But if you remember in time on Christmas Eve, you may still be able to snag a 20 piece order of nuggets or even get a gallon of sweet tea to get you through the December 26 when they will be open again with their normal business hours.
