Fast food restaurants open on Christmas Eve (2022)
By Chad Porto
What fast food restaurants are open on Christmas Eve?
Christmas Eve comes with a unique set of challenges. It’s the end of the year-end shopping season and the beginning of the year-end get-togethers. So on one given day, you could be running around getting last-second presents or the final items for a Christmas Eve/Christmas Day dinner, to running to your in-laws and then your friend’s houses for back-to-back get-togethers.
It can be quite time-consuming, and that leaves very little time to properly prepare for the day. So if you’re someone who has far too much on their plate already, you may need someone else to handle meals, at least momentarily.
So if you’re running around too much to make a decent lunch or dinner for yourself, stopping to get something to eat from a fast food place is absolutely a viable option. But with it being Christmas Eve, what is even open?
Basically everything.
Be prepared for adjusted hours on Christmas Eve
Most places that we found are going to be open on Christmas Eve. McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Burger King, Subway, Chipotle, and so many other places are advertising being open on Christmas Eve. So you’ll have options.
The problem comes down to when they’re going to close, because unless that specific location near you is traditionally 24-hours, like some McDonald’s and Denny’s, more than likely you won’t have all night to get food.
Most places are going to be open until at least 8 PM local time, with places like KFC staying open until 10 PM (though hours may vary from location to location).
Yet, some places like Chick-Fil-A could close even earlier, with some looking at a 6 PM closing time depending on location. So it’s very important that you prioritize getting food as early as possible on Christmas Eve.
