Is Chili’s open on Christmas? (2022)
By Chad Porto
Will Chili’s be open on Christmas Day?
Christmas Dinner can be a fun time for many, and it’s mostly because you’re surrounded by those you love the most. At least, that’s how it should be. Yet, what’s served at Christmas Dinner isn’t universal. Some do ham, turkey, and lasagna, others may do tamales.
It doesn’t matter what is being served, there is a universal truth about preparing Christmas dinner it’s hard. It’s worth it, especially if you’re a fan of cooking, but the cleanup is oftentimes twice as long as the actual prep and cooking aspect.
So if you enjoy more Mexican-centric meals, and you’re looking for a restaurant that serves that type of food, a place like Chili’s may appeal to you. If you’re looking to skip out on the work that comes with Christmas Dinner and looking for a place to go eat, Chili’s may be a destination for some. Unfortunately, it just won’t happen on Christmas.
Is Chili’s closed on Christmas?
Most, if not all, Chili’s will be closed. You can always call your local Chili’s and find out if they are open but be ready for disappointment.
Sadly, if you’re looking for Mexican or Hispanic cuisine and you’re just not going to settle for anything less, you’re not looking at many options. Most restaurants are closed, so you may not be able to find anything that suits your tastebuds.
The best we can offer are these options. There’s a good chance some Buffalo Wild Wings are open, depending on the location, so you can call yours and see if they’re open. Boston Market will have a limited menu in select locations, and while it’s nowhere close to Hispanic-influenced cuisine, it is something you can enjoy to keep your kitchen a bit cleaner than normal.
Then of course there’s Denny’s, the American staple that is open every day of the week.
