If you end up having to travel on Christmas Day, it’s nice to stop at a familiar fast food chain to pick up a quick bite to eat. Or maybe you want to run out and grab a quick breakfast before the chaos of your Christmas celebration begins. Since Wendy’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, it’s a great fast food option for any meal of the day. But is Wendy’s open on Christmas Day?
Several attempts via social media and email went unanswered. However, I made calls to several different Wendy’s restaurants throughout the country and it appears that they are closed. At least the Wendy’s restaurants that I called in Fort Lauderdale (FL), Los Angeles (CA), and the Bronx (NY) will be. Also note: some of the employees I spoke with mentioned that they are closing early and have different hours on Christmas Eve.
If you are feeling the urge for a Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger, please call before heading out. It seems you won’t be able to enjoy one on Christmas Day!
Is Wendy’s open on Christmas Day?
However, Wendy’s has several recently added menu items that you may want to go out and try on another day. They have a new Italian Mozzarella Cheeseburger and Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich. Or maybe the Garlic Fries are tempting you. Hot fries drizzled with a garlic herb sauce sounds pretty good!
Wendy’s signature Frosty is one of my favorite fast food treats. While I haven’t yet tried the seasonal Peppermint Frosty, it looks like Christmas Day isn’t the day.
