Can you stop at Dairy Queen on Christmas this year?
Dairy Queen is arguably the largest ice cream-centric fast food joint in the United States. They’re known for their Blizzards, their ice cream cakes, and if you have the right type of location, even their chicken fingers, and fries. While it may seem odd to want a Blizzard during the season most known for blizzards, some people do.
For some people, it’s never too cold for ice cream. Well if you’re out and about this Christmas Day, you may find yourself among those hungry for a sweet treat, like ice cream. After all, if you’re driving around to various houses, hoping to see all of your loved ones, sometimes you want more than just burgers and fries.
Well, if you’re traveling this Christmas Day and hoping to find a place to stop at to get something sweet in your stomach, Dairy Queen is usually the first thought. After all, they’re among the few ice cream places that serve the frozen treat all year round.
Is Dairy Queen closed on Christmas?
Dairy Queen is the perfect place for a frozen treat. Just not on Christmas, unfortunately. So if you’re looking for something sweet to eat, you may have to stop at your local multi-purpose gas station to get a donut or a small pint of ice cream as Dairy Queen will indeed be closed on Christmas Day this year. However, there is an alternative.
If you’re truly looking for something sweet to eat, and you don’t want to stop at a multi-purpose gas station to do so, you can check out your local McDonald’s. They won’t all be open, as they’re independently owned, but you may be in luck if you check your local McDonald’s.
They don’t have the variety that Dairy Queen has, but they do have milkshakes and hot fudge sundaes, so you can at least enjoy that.
