Doritos reveals new Sweet and Tangy BBQ flavor

Doritos have long been one of the most popular snack chips on the market and for a very good reason. They are really, really good. The classic Nacho Cheese flavor have long been the go-to for almost any party or sporting event.

But as we all know, Nacho Cheese isn’t the only flavor you can get. There is Ranch, which is just as popular as well as numerous limited edition flavors that are only available for a limited time, such as Twisted Lime and Flamin’ Hot Queso.

And it would appear that the brand is kicking off 2023 with yet another new flavor, this time as part of their “Try Another Angle” promotion which encourages fans to try new and different flavors of the iconic chips.

Sweet and Tangy Doritos will be available nationwide on January 5.

They are stressing that this is not your usual BBQ chip. First off, they’re Doritos so they are already a step above. Additionally they say that the chips take BBQ flavor to the next level with “sweetness, complex spices and tanginess.”

The new flavor chips will be available at retailers nationwide beginning January 5 and will retail for $5.59. While we don’t know if these will be a permanent addition to the line or a limited edition, you can be sure if they prove popular that will be around for a while.

We’re assuming that Sweet and Tangy BBQ Doritos are just the first in what will likely be a year of flavor innovations. So enjoy then while you can and let’s wait and see what Doritos has up their sleeve next.
