Of all the desserts out there that foodies can enjoy, the simple churro has to be one of the most underrated, at least in this country. Other parts of the world are well aware of just how good churros are and thankfully, Dairy Queen has joined them.

Last year Dairy Queen tested a churro cone at select locations and it was a huge hit. However, the cone soon disappeared without any explanation or word when it could make a return or, fingers crossed, go nationwide.

Well, according to several sources on social media, the Churro Dipped Cone is getting ready to make a huge comeback. Or, since so few people got to try one last time, a proper debut for the ice cream loving masses of foodie nation.

The Churro Dipped Cone returns to Dairy Queen the middle of February.

So what exactly is a Churro Dipped Cone? Glad you asked. It takes Dairy Queen’s classic soft serve vanilla ice cream and dips it in a crunchy churro-flavored coating. Then it is sprinkled with a cinnamon sugar topping and voila, you have churro magic.

Hopefully this will be just the beginning of a churro renaissance in the United States. Churros are already available at places like Burger King, Taco Bell and even KFC in other parts of the world. I mean, who in the States would say no to more churros?

For the time being Dairy Queen will have to be the leader in churro flavored desserts. While nothing has been confirmed, word is the Churro Dipped Cone will be available satrting sometime this February nationwide.
