Jimmy John’s introduces Red Velvet Cookie for V-Day

Red is synonymous with Valentine’s Day. That’s why it’s amazing to see Jimmy John’s introducing a Red Velvet cookie to its menu for 2023.

As someone who loves red velvet, I was ecstatic to try this. However, I was even more excited that Jimmy John’s featured one of the most iconic white rappers of all time. You know him, you love him. It’s Yung Gravy and honestly, how could you say no to a cookie Yung Gravy loves?

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the chain even partnered up with Yung Gravy for what is one of the most hilarious yet incredible promo videos. In it, we watch as Gravy tries to find a mom to share his cookies with it and it’s as over-the-top and dramatic as you might think.

Regardless, I will say that it only made me want to try the cookies more and even made me laugh a handful of times. Since the video is less than 2 minutes long, I can confidently say that the marketing for this was pretty spot-on.

As awesome as the promo from Yung Gravy is, there’s nothing like being able to try the real thing and that’s why I was happy when I was sent two of these cookies to try. I’m someone who enjoys red velvet so I was more than happy to give it a go and I must say, this is an incredible cookie.

While Jimmy John’s is known for its sandwiches, these Red Velvet Cookies are out-of-this-world. It might not seem like it in the promo images, but these cookies are huge. While I won’t share if I ate all of mine by myself (okay yes), each cookie is enough to split. The addition of white chocolate chips is a delight and brings some unexpected sweetness.

If you’re a fan of red velvet, then I highly recommend heading to Jimmy John’s to get one to try for yourself. They’re tasty and honestly, make for a great dessert. I feel like they’d be even better after finishing off your sub and knowing you want something sweet afterward. It would just hit the spot, especially during this season.

At this point, it’s unclear how long the cookies will be on the menu so I’d head to your local Jimmy John’s especially if you’re getting a Turkey Tom or an Italian Night Club sandwich. No matter what you plan on enjoying, you need to make sure you grab one of these Red Velvet Cookies before they’re off the menu.
