It feels like the chip aisle is endless but Kettle Brand is here to make your search a bit easier.

In 2023, the brand is introducing a new innovation in the potato chip game. The company announced the newest addition to its lineup which is the first kettle-cooked and air-fried potato chips in the snack aisle.

Since its inception in 1978, Kettle Brand has been the leader in creating new and innovative snacks to add to your rotation. With everyone’s love and admiration for air fryers, it’s a big surprise that Kettle Brand is the first but somehow, there’s always something undeniable about the first being one of the best.

In 2023, it feels like this is a long time coming and it’s exciting to see a company such as Kettle Brand be one of the first to add such a massively popular snack.

What’s the deal with Kettle Brand and its new air-fried chips?

I don’t know about you, but I immediately had questions upon hearing this and thankfully, we have the answers for you. According to a press release from Kettle Brand: “An air-fried finish is something no one else is offering right now, giving our chips a unique light and crispy crunch to go with their signature bold flavor.” Honestly, I feel like there’s something to be said about having that crispy and bold flavor in an air-fried snack.

Additionally, you can get some of your favorite snacks but in an air-fried version. The three flavors currently available are Himalayan Salt, Sea Salt & Vinegar, and Jalapeno. The chips come in 6.5-ounce bags for $4.79 and are available at places such as Target, Whole Foods, Giant, and even more. You can use the Kettle Brand locator if you’re looking to purchase these.

Personally, I feel like these would be amazing for an Easter basket or a nice snack to have when you’re watching a movie. Regardless of when you’re planning on trying these, these new first-to-market air-fried chips are a great alternative if you’re looking for something with less fat while still looking for that crunch. While all the options sound good, Sea Salt & Vinegar sound like they’re going to be especially tasty.

However, I’d love to know which flavor sounds the best to you, Guilty Eaters.  Be sure to let us know if you plan on trying out these chips and if you have a flavor preference!
