Ed Sheeran is a name most people don’t think of when it comes to hot sauce. With Tingly Ted’s though, that’s all about to change.
While Ed Sheeran pretty much has his hat in every ring, he’s finally making it into the sauce game. In collaboration with Kraft Heinz, Sheeran is introducing two flavors of Tingly Ted’s which is honestly the best name for a hot sauce in my opinion.
You might remember Ed’s previous collaboration with Heinz as he’s a fan of ketchup but Tingly Ted’s is something completely different. Personally, I feel like this is going to be a fun and exciting new venture for Sheeran and Kraft Heinz together.
If you’re looking to know more about what you can expect from Tingly Ted’s and this epic collaboration, we have all the details for you.
Tingly Ted’s is a tantalizing collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Kraft Heinz.
At this point, there are only two varieties of Tingly Ted’s but toted as the “ketchup of hot sauce,” there is the potential for more. According to the official website for Tingly Ted’s, there are two different layers if you’re looking into buying these sauces. Additionally, it’s unclear when the sauces will be hitting stores but we do know it’ll be this year.
“Each person’s heat tolerance is different. We recommend you try them yourself! Our sauces are spicy enough to tingle your tongue, but not too spicy that you’ll reach out for milk. Tingly Sauce is rated as Medium and Xtra Tingly Sauce rated as Hot.” As someone who isn’t a fan of spice, I’d personally enjoy the Tingly Sauce, but to each other their own. If you’re a die-hard Ed Sheeran fan, you might want to preorder both.
If you don’t believe me though or the product description, take it from Ed himself: I travel a lot, so having a bottle in my suitcase wherever I go that can spice up any and every meal seemed like a good idea. I knew I didn’t wanna do a watery hot sauce, as they usually all get relegated to the same shelf of other random hot sauces. I wanted to make a sauce that took the same pride of place as ketchup.” Honestly, I feel like that’s a pretty massive and exciting endorsement despite him being the creator of the sauce.
Regardless of your feelings on hot sauce or Ed Sheeran, this feels like a new chapter for both Sheeran and Kraft Heinz. If you’re a sauce lover like Ed Sheeran, then you should give Tingly Ted’s a try.
