Jimmy John’s adds Caprese Salami Pesto sandwich for LTO

Jimmy John’s is one of those places where you get a bit extra. Whether you’re looking for a sub or even, just a cookie, the chain has you covered.

That’s why it’s especially cool to see JJ’s newest addition. Don’t wait on this one though as this is going to be on the menu for a limited time only so it’s best you head out and try it before the day ends.

Maybe that’s just me being overly excited about the Caprese Salami Pesto sandwich, though. If the sandwich taste half as good as the pictures make it look, then we’re all in for a real treat. You don’t need to take my word for it, though.

Obviously, if you’re excited by the picture, you’ll want to know what’s on the sandwich. In a statement from Jimmy John’s, “This bold new sandwich is piled high with time-honored Italian ingredients, like slow-roasted tomatoes, all-natural Genoa salami, basil pesto, balsamic glaze, olive oil, oregano, onion, mayonnaise and then topped with award-winning fresh mozzarella.” To me, this looks like a hearty sandwich.

The goal for this sandwich was to capture some Italian flavors and I really feel like Jimmy John’s did it with this one. In particular, I think the added touch of fresh mozzarella is going to make a huge difference. There is something so delicious about having fresh mozzarella versus packaged so I appreciate Jimmy John’s for adding that extra touch.

While everything about the Caprese Salmai Pesto sandwich looks tasty, there is one downside and it’s that this isn’t a permanent menu item. Rather, it’s only going to be available for a limited time starting today. If you’re craving it after just seeing the picture, then there’s no shame in going out to grab one for yourself.

With spring just around the corner, this would be perfect to eat at a picnic or if you’re planning to enjoy some dinner outside. Regardless of what you’re looking to do, heading to Jimmy John’s will most definitely satisfy your sandwich craving.
