Celebrate the return of Ted Lasso with Jeni’s new ice cream

There is never a bad time for ice cream but when you think of the return of a TV show, you don’t usually think of sitting on the couch and eating ice cream. Or maybe you do. No judgment here. But whatever your plan was to celebrate the return of Ted Lasso, Jeni’s just came out with the perfect snack to enjoy while you watch the first episode.

On Thursday, March 2, 2023, Jeni’s Splendid ice cream is coming out with a Ted Lasso-themed ice cream. It’s called Biscuits with the Boss and consists of shortbread crumbles in a salted butter sweet cream ice cream. I had the chance to try it already and it tastes exactly like what you think of when you think of those biscuits from the show (or cookies for us Americans).

It’s rich and buttery and sweet. You may only be able to eat a scoop or two at a time, but if you’re a Ted Lasso superfan, you need this ice cream.

It also happens to come in blue, red, and white packaging and looks just like Ted Lasso‘s coach jacket. Yes, it’s a bit of a gimmick, but it completely delivers. The flavor and quality of the ice cream will make you want to buy several pints just so you don’t run out.

Nate and Ted may be on opposite sides of the soccer field but even they would agree on the deliciousness of this flavor. Although, whether Nate deserves any ice cream is up for debate (he doesn’t).

You’ll want to make sure you have at least one pint when the show returns on Wednesday, March 15 on Apple TV+.
