Crime Scene Kitchen season 2 premiere date announced
The time has finally come! Crime Scene Kitchen season 1 wrapped up in July 2021 and fans (including me) have been waiting patiently for some news about when season 2 was coming. Well, the news is finally here and the season 2 premiere is only a few months away.
Crime Scene Kitchen season 2 comes back to Fox on Monday, May 22, 2023 and will be on from 8-10 p.m. ET. After the two-hour premiere, the show will return to its regular timeslot at 9 p.m. ET.
If you don’t remember what the show is about, let’s do a quick recap. The show is hosted by Joel McHale and features teams of two bakers who must look for clues in a used kitchen to figure out what was made there.
Once they think they have an idea, they must recreate the dessert in a certain amount of time. When time is up, they must present their creation to the judges who include Chef Curtis Stone and cake artist Yolanda Gampp.
Crime Scene Kitchen season 2 is coming this May
The judges don’t tell them how close they are to the right dessert but they do critique their technique, style, and flavor. It isn’t until the end that the right dessert is revealed. Then, based on whether the bakers are correct and how well they executed their dessert, the judges decide which team will be sent packing.
By the end of the series, the winning team receives $100,000!
It is by far one of the most unique and creative cooking competition shows on TV today. And the bakers, judges, and host make it incredibly fun. It’s like if Clue met Great British Baking Show. What other show is giving you that? And seeing the delicious-looking desserts doesn’t hurt either. It does make me very hungry though.
