10. Sausage Burrito

I remember someone commenting on a previous slideshow I did, and the comment went that I was being “biased” in my selections.

Well, sometimes biased is a good thing. Why? Because that’s what gives a slideshow authenticity. Usually, we hear people complain they a list is based on what they’ve seen and read on other sites, but when a writer of a slideshow shows some biased, that gives a slideshow some much-needed street cred.

So, let me be biased for a minute and tell you why I love McDonald’s Sausage Burrito.

This is an item that doesn’t have a huge fan base, and some have even said that McDonald’s version of the Sausage Burrito — which are so small they could be considered “breakfast snacks — is an affront to the breakfast burrito.

Now, those people do have a point.

I’ve tried many a breakfast burrito in my lifetime, and all of them stack up pass McDonald’s Sausage Burrito. So, I won’t take that from them. However, I live in an area that is, what some may consider, breakfast burrito challenged, so the Sausage Burrito has been a lifeline for me to enjoy the simplicity of the breakfast burrito whenever I’m not in San Antonio.

Yes, It’s not a true breakfast burrito, but for those like me who live in breakfast burrito-challenged areas, we thank God for McDonald’s doing this great service.
