9. Double Cheeseburger

Remember the spile about “biased” I spun in the previous slide? Well, get ready for more of it.

There is one difference between the Double Cheeseburger and the Sausage Burrito, and it happens to do with fan support. The Double Cheeseburger has more fans than the Sausage Burrito, and it has also been a standard on McDonald’s menu for a lot longer.

But there is some confusion between the Double Cheeseburger and the McDouble, the latter’s low-rent cousin. The one thing that separates the two is that the Double Cheeseburger has one extra slice of cheese, while the McDouble only has one.

Yep, that’s the difference.

So, why does one cost more than the other? I don’t know, but the Double Cheeseburger can give you a temporary feeling of filling that a McDouble can’t give, so, maybe that’s why the Double Cheeseburger cost more Regardless, the Double Cheeseburger has been a long-standing favorite of mine and many others, and here’s hoping that one day, it’ll make it back to that $1 range.
