NEW YORK, NY – FEBRUARY 09: An awning stands over a McDonald’s entrance in lower Manhattan on February 9, 2015 in New York City. McDonald’s Corporation has said sales in January fell a worse-than-expected 1.8%. While the fast-food restaurant chain said U.S. and Europe sales showed signs of improvement, Asia sales slowed. 17. Vanilla Cone

Am I really about to spend a slide talking about McDonald’s Vanilla Cone?

You bet I am.

Many fast food outlets serve up the mythical Vanilla Cone, and each outlet has its own way of making the cone. But when it comes to McDonald’s Vanilla Cone, there’s just something about it that makes that white sparkle.

The way the smooth and richness of the ice cream just captivates your taste buds simply can’t be replicated anywhere else. Even when it’s melting in the blazing hot glow of a summer sun, McDonald’s Vanilla Cone comes through with coolness and ferocity that is unmatched.

Again, did I just describe all of that for a basic Vanilla Cone? Of course, I did, and why wouldn’t I?

Why wouldn’t you?

Face it, you’re reading this right now and are hankering for a McDonald’s Vanilla Cone. It could be -45 degrees outside and one would still try to make it to their local McDonald’s to get a Vanilla Cone. That’s how powerful that desert treat is, that you’ll risk frost bit just for a taste.

That’s why the Vanilla Cone deserved to be on this list.

If I was making a slideshow about any other fast food restaurant (and it’s coming, trust me), then I probably wouldn’t include their cones, because, as good as they are, it doesn’t match up to the version that has made countless memories throughout its lifespan at McDonald’s.
