Some people have no choice but to be plant-based while others just enjoy a plant-based diet which is where Nestlé Toll House comes in. The brand is introducing some new products that are for plant-based consumers.

Even though I’m not plant-based, I know a lot of people who are and want something more than what they’re given. That’s why Nestlé Toll House is changing the tides by introducing new plant-based chocolate morsels.

To put it simply, they’re chocolate chips but not the ones we’ve come to know. As shared by the company, the morsels are “…made with 100% real chocolate and no preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.” Even if you’re not plant-based, this is great for someone looking for a cleaner product to put in their body.

Regardless of which camp you’re in, we have the details on Nestlé Toll House’s latest innovation including when this will be hitting shelves nationwide.

Nestlé Toll House introduces new plant-based chocolate morsels!

Currently, there are two varieties for my plant-based bakers. First is the classic semi-sweet morsels and then the dark chocolate morsels. To me, there is no shortage of options for how to use these. Whether you’re going the classic route of making chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip muffins or even just eating them as a treat, it’s good to know your options.

Personally, I feel like these would be a great compliment to homemade banana bread. I know most people enjoy walnuts in there, but since I’m allergic to nuts, I vastly prefer chocolate. If you’re plant-based though, there wasn’t always an option until now.

That’s not the only thing Nestlé Toll House has up its sleeve, though. In June, the brand is also adding another option which is caramel morsels. I feel like these would go great if you’re looking to have caramel apples, to add to your favorite ice cream or even cookies. Honestly, the possibilities are endless.

Even though I’m not plant-based, I’m happy to know that those who are, have another option because it’s not always widely available. Plus Nestlé Toll House products are always delicious in my opinion so there was no way I was letting this one slip past me. If you’re looking to purchase them, be sure to check store shelves in June!
