May is here and it brings a few monthly observations. The month is also known as Allergy Awareness Month which MadeGood and Molly Yeh teamed up to celebrate.
You might recognize Molly Yeh from her cookbooks, TV show, or popular blog. While she’s known for her fusion recipes, she’s trying something new in collaboration with MadeGood. The cause is actually a passion close to Molly’s heart.
Molly Yeh’s mother has a peanut allergy so it’s something she’s known about and grown up with so it makes sense why she and MadeGood would work together. In honor of that, the two decided to release a “MadeGood Allergy-Friendly Recipe Collection by Molly Yeh.”
The collection of recipes is curated for those who have food allergies or those cooking for people who have them. Either way, MadeGood, and Molly Yeh shared some recipes with us and gave us some insights into their unique collaboration.
MadeGood and Molly Yeh unveil a collection of allergy-friendly recipes.
With the rise in adult food allergies, it makes sense why these two would combine forces. As someone who loves Molly Yeh, I am super happy and excited to see her creating some recipes for those who have allergies. I also have a tree-nut allergy so I know how frustrating it can be to try to find a substitute or avoid the product altogether.
Even so, MadeGood and Molly Yeh are making it easy with their new recipe collection. Whether you’re looking to cook an appetizer, a main dish, or a dessert, the duo has it all. I know I’ll be trying my hand at the Spicy Ranch Cheddar Crackers which sound so tasty. There’s also Sloppy Joe Pitas, Sunflower Fairy Toast, and Sprinkle Ice Cream Pie.
With this pairing, it truly feels like the sky is the limit. If you or someone you know has a food allergy, it can feel like you’re not getting those tasty treats you once loved. However, MadeGood and Molly Yeh are changing things. You can’t look at those pictures and tell me those foods don’t look tasty.
Even if you don’t have a food allergy, you might end up loving one of these recipes and putting it in your rotation. MadeGood has created some of my favorite treats while Molly Yeh has been such a calming and bubbly presence while watching her show. All in all, this was a match made in heaven for me.
