The best fast food joint in every 50 state of America

Oklahoma: Sonic Drive-In
Most of the nation has heard of Sonic Drive-In, but not many may have known that the famous drive-in chain has its roots in the Sooner State.
Yep, back in 1953 in Shawnee, OK, Troy Smith opened “Top Hat Drive-In,” which would soon change its name to Sonic Drive-In and the rest is fast food history. Sonic is famous for bringing back the popularity of the carhop, and it’s fun to see servers roller skate up to your car with your perfectly seasoned meal.
Another bonus: This is one of the few chains that serves tater tots. Good job, Sonic.
Oregon: Taco Time
What time is it in Oregon? It’s Taco Time!
While Taco Bell dominated the fast Mexican market, Taco Time has quietly caught up to the giant in stature. The chain, born in Eugene in 1959, now has over 300 locations nationwide serving up their own brand of tacos, burritos and more.
Although the chain is known as being headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Taco Time will always continue to be an Oregon treasure in the fast food world.
