Utah: Arctic Circle

Why get your burger fix at In-N-Out when you can head to the local Arctic Circle?

For those not in the know (which is everyone outside of Utah), Arctic Circle is a chain that many Utah residents swear by. Their burgers and shakes far surpass the legacy chains, and they really do try to live up to their slogan of “Where the Good Stuff Is.”

So why go to a chain when you can hit up an Arctic Circle and get “the Good Stuff?”

Vermont: Al’s French Frys

This isn’t a chain, but Al’s French Frys is a Burlington institution.

Vermont is one of the few states that hasn’t had a chain that has broken out into the mainstream, but many within Burlington know of the savory french fries that Al’s cooks up.

On second thought, maybe it’s best that Al’s French Fries has only one location. That way, the restaurant can keep its legendary status.
