13. Little Caesars Pizza

Claim to fame: $5 large pizzas

The Reason:

If you’re pinching pennies and need a decent pizza, then Little Caesars Pizza will come to the rescue.

The Detroit-chain has really found an audience with their $5 large one-topping pizza, and when served hot, these pizzas can match up with the best of them. The bad part is that you can only get them in three toppings — pepperoni, cheese, and sausage — and that the toppings don’t fill the pizza.

Luckily, they also have an Extra Most Bestest pizza that has the toppings cover the pizza for only a buck more. I recommend spending that extra dollar on the EMB, but if you can’t, the classic pizzas do serve their purpose. Little Caesars has other menu items, from wings to sandwiches, but the pizzas are the star of the show, and it isn’t worth your money to stray away from the pizzas.

Best menu item: $6 Extra Most Bestest Pepperoni Pizza

You can get the classic and pay the $5, but, as I described above, you should really shell out the extra dollar for the Extra Most Bestest pepperoni, which covers the entire pie.

Worst menu item: $5 Classic Pizza when it’s cold

Little Caesar’s rocks when their pizzas are hot, but when they get cold, they are barely edible.
