The 25 best fast food chains in America, ranked
By Kareem Gantt
12. Pizza Hut
Claim to fame: The mighty Supreme pizza
The Reason:
Don’t look now, but Pizza Hut may have gotten its groove back.
It all started during the Great Recession when the Plano, Texas chain got the novel idea of making all of their pizzas $10, whether customers were carrying out or having it delivered. The delivered part has since disappeared, but you can still get the $10 any pizza for carry-out, and that is a great deal.
Recently, Pizza Hut has decided to throw down with Little Caesars Pizza and offer their own $5 lunch menu, and for some, their pan pizza far out-weights what Little Caesars has to offer. This was a chain that was once sliding, but now, the Hut is back, and we should all breathe a sigh of relief.
Best menu item: Pan Supreme Pizza
It’s their signature pizza, and after all of these years, it’s still the best darn pizza on the menu.
Worst menu item: Wings
OK, hear me out before you burn me at the stake. The wings are bad, but getting good wings at Pizza Hut really depends on which location you go to. For me, the last two times I got wings from Pizza Hut, it left a lot to be desired, and it scarred me.
