6. Burger King

Claim to fame: The Whopper

The Reason:

The Whopper is still at its best, but BK has begun to embrace the value menu, and their full-on embrace of this menu spooked their competitors to go in on values as well. It brings people back to the chain, along with the improved menu. Their newer burgers, such as the Philly Cheese King, have become hits alongside its staples.

Now, that’s not to say that everything on its menu is perfect because it’s not, but, it’s in much better shape.

Just, don’t bring those horrid Cheeto Mac ‘n Cheese bites back, please?

Best menu item: The Whooper

It’s a timeless classic, and it’s still full of flavor. You can’t go wrong with good-old Whopper.

Worse menu item: Bacon Cheeseburger

You taste more of the bread than you do the actual burger, which destroys the experience. There are better items on the value menu, pick any one of those other than this one.
