With summer movie season now in full swing, there are few movies drawing more attestation and excitement then the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The sequel to the blockbuster Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse arrives on June 2 and Burger King wants to get you ready.

How exactly does the fast food giant plan to do that? By releasing a brand new version of their iconic Whopper sandwich that will have you thinking of Miles Morales, aka Spider-Man, and his dynamic costume. Yes, a sandwich. Not a toy, not a collectible, a sandwich.

Get ready to swing into your local Burger King later this May (You just knew that joke was coming) to try the brand new Spider-Verse Whopper and then finish your meal with a Spider-Verse Sundae.

The Spider-Verse Whopper will be available at Burger King until June 21, 2023.

So, what exactly is a Spider-Verse Whopper anyway? Glad you asked. Taking its inspiration from the Spider-Man costume worn by Miles Morales, The Spider-Verse Whopper has a red bun that has been topped with black sesame seeds. After that it’s pretty much just like the Whopper you know and love except it’s topped with Swiss cheese instead on American.

The Spider-Verse Sundae starts with vanilla soft serve ice cream and is then topped with red and black chocolate candies that actually pop. Sounds like a great way to celebrate the continuing adventures of everyone’s favorite wall-crawler.

Both the Spider-Verse Whopper and the Spider-Verse Sundae will be available at all Burger King locations nationwide starting May 15 until June 21.
