Crime Scene Kitchen season 2 is almost here! It’s one of the best and most unique baking competition shows on TV. Where else does Clue meet a baking competition? Only on this show. But while the new season is bringing a new bunch of bakers, it’s also bringing a bunch of new guest judges.

Each episode will feature Chef Curtis Stone and cake artist Yolanda Gampp as the main judges and Joel McHale is returning as the show’s host, but like last year, there will be a new guest judge as well. But who are going to be the guest judges in season 2? The new guest judges include reality star NeNe Leakes, Chef Richard Blais, country singer Martina McBride, and NBA player Dwight Howard.

It will be interesting to see what challenges they are part of, how they interact with the bakers, and how they are as judges. NeNe never holds back so her episode should be very fun!

But the judges aren’t the only new part of season 2. In the premiere episode, we will be introduced to six teams of self-taught bakers and they will compete against each other. In week 2, another six teams will be introduced but they will be classically-trained bakers. While classically-trained bakers typically win, maybe a self-taught team will come out on top in the end!

Crime Scene Kitchen returning on Monday, June 5

Crime Scene Kitchen season 2 was recently pushed from Monday, May 22, 2023 to Monday, June 5, 2023 at 9 p.m. ET, so we have to wait a few more weeks until the show returns. It will also only be one hour.  They moved it and shortened the premiere likely to extend the show for a few more weeks to fill in gaps. If the writers were being given what they need to do their work and survive in the business, we likely would have gotten a two-hour premiere.
