To become the executive chef at some of the world’s finest restaurants, it usually takes years, sometimes decades of hard work and determination. For many chefs it is the ultimate, only goal. But for one talented cook, Five Star Chef is going to give them a chance to move to the front of the line and fulfill that dream.
Five Star Chef is the new cooking competition series that is coming to Netflix. It will feature seven professional chefs competing to see who will become the new executive chef of the Palm Court Restaurant located in the Langham Hotel in London, England.
For those that may not be aware, the Langham Hotel is considered one of the finest hotels on the planet. Everything about it screams luxury and five stars and that includes the Palm Court. To be the executive chef there is the kind of opportunity that comes around maybe once in a lifetime.
For the seven chefs competing on Five Star Chef, that opportunity is now.
Five Star Chef with Michel Roux premieres on Netflix this coming July.
The series features Chef Michel Roux Jr. a Michelin-starred chef who is considered one the best chefs in the world. He will be advised by Mike Reid and Ravneet Gill and will be making the final decision on who wins this life changing prize.
The first trailer has arrived and it makes Top Chef look like an episode of Guy’s Grocery Games. Perfection is not a goal to achieve, it is simply expected of the contestants. This is about who has the talent, the skill and the drive to not only make great food but the ability to make money while doing it.
Because while being named the executive chef at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Las Vegas or Atlantic City is an amazing opportunity, running the Palm Court is a golden ticket to a whole new life and career.
All six episodes of Five Star Chef will arrive on Netflix on July 14, which is the same day the winner will unveil their new concept for the Palm Court in London.
