Whataburger, much like every other fast food chain out there over the last few years, adds and deletes items from their menu with alarming regularity. It usually comes with no warning and for fans of a particular item, it can be quite jarring.

I mean, I still haven’t recovered from the loss of my beloved McDLT from McDonald’s and that happened literally decades ago. But I digress.

Fortunately Whataburger, much like Taco Bell, will bring back items for limited runs when the fans demand it. And thanks to social media, the fans can demand it with a pretty big and persistent voice if they want to.

Which is why they have announced the return of three popular items to the menu for a limited time.

The Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit will be back at Whataburger starting in late June.

First up is the Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit, which hasn’t been seen at the chain for over a year. Fans were very upset when the popular breakfast item vanished with no warning, so much so they actually started a petition to bring it back. And it would appear to have worked.

Also making a comeback is the Southern Bacon Double, which combines a Bacon and Cheese Whataburger with their fresh coleslaw and tangy Southern-style sauce. And you can wash it all down with a Banana Pudding Shake that combines the best of several banana desserts into one marvelous shake.

Whataburger is taking the arrival of these three returning favorites to introduce a brand new item, the Whataburger BLT. It includes crisp bacon, lettuce and tomato all served on two slices of Texas Toast.

So it would seem that no matter what you may be in the mood for, Whataburger has you covered. But all four items will only be around for a limited time so get them while you can.
