Snickers channels their inner grandma with new Butterscotch Scoop flavor

Snickers is known for their peanut and nougat bars with a layer of caramel that has been coated in chocolate. It’s a dream candy bar after all.

But when it comes to innovation, Snickers also knows how to keep us on our toes. In fact, their latest creation might just be the most unexpected yet.

Snickers has recently launched a new flavor called Butterscotch Scoop, which is currently a Walmart exclusive flavor. And we had a chance to try it for ourselves. And yes, it really does scream nostalgia and memories of grandma’s butterscotch candies.

Honestly, this bar really is a unique cross between the classic Snickers flavor and a butterscotch candy. It also offers up that hint of a creamy ice cream flavor, so it really is a fascinating flavor profile.

Unlike the classic bars so many of us know and love, the Butterscotch Scoop takes the nougat to a whole new level thanks to the addition of the creamy butterscotch flavoring. The first bite was definitely a weird one, but that’s because you are expecting one flavor and getting something else. However, after that first bite, it’s just like you are crunching on a butterscotch candy covered in chocolate and peanuts. It’s a more unique flavor and it’s ridiculously hard to explain, because it really is like snacking on nostalgia.

Butterscotch Scoop really does give us all the grandma vibes we didn’t know our Snickers bar needed. And we have to say, we love it.

This is definitely going to be the candy bar of summer and we are pretty excited to stock up on these chocolate bars during our next trip to Walmart.
