Sour Patch Kids have not added a ton of new flavors over the past couple of years. And while they have come out with bunnies and Christmas-themed shapes in the past, the flavors are still the ones your see year-round. It’s still red, blue, green, orange, and yellow. But Sour Patch Kids is finally switching it up this fall (and I could not be more excited).
This fall, Sour Patch Kids is coming out with a new collection of Apple Harvest flavors! And yes, the candy is shaped like apples as well. The new flavors include cranberry apple, apple cider, and caramel apple. The apple candy also comes in different colors, including red, orange, and green.
These new flavors could not be more perfect. The sweetness of Sour Patch Kids will go perfectly with the tartness of cranberries, and the sourness will set off the apple cider and the sweetness of the caramel. I cannot wait to get a bag of these! My only worry is that the apple flavor will be too fake tasting. Fingers crossed!
Sour Patch Kids Apple Harvest coming soon
But when will these be coming out? Considering back-to-school stuff is already at some stores, we will likely see these sooner rather than later. Make sure to keep your eye on the stores where you usually get your sour-sweet treats. And maybe if these do well, they will start making different flavors for different seasons. Just hopefully no gingerbread one. That…would not be good.
But while we wait for them to hit stores, there are plenty of Sour Patch Kids options. There are the new lemonade ones, the watermelon candies, or of course, the coveted all-blue pack. You can also get a completely customized bag if you go on the Sour Patch Kids website.
