Make a Taquito-rita with Delimex Taquitos and JAJA Tequila
If you’re a foodie, July is the month for you. In particular, Delimex Taquitos and JAJA Tequila have an amazing collab for National Tequila Day on July 24th.
I didn’t know National Tequila Day existed, but these two brands are working together to give us a special treat. I’ve raved about how great Delimex Taquitos are many times so that’s nothing new but adding JAJA Tequila into the mix for a fun treat.
However, these two brands have given us a recipe to usurp the rest and it’s called the Taquito-rita! If that sounds delicious, you’ll probably lose your mind when we share the recipe from the brand.
Whether you’re a fan of Delimex Taquitos or JAJA Tequila, you can enjoy the Taquito-rita ahead of National Tequila Day.
Celebrate National Tequila Day with Delimex Taquitos and JAJA Tequila.
With a name like the Taquito-rita, there are a few images that come to mind but thankfully, Delimex and JAJA shared what it is and even gave us the recipe. I don’t know about you, but I feel like any time taquitos are involved, it’s a good time.
As shared by the brand: “The Taquito-rita is a savory and unexpected twist on a classic margarita. Starting with a bold base of JAJA Tequila Blanco, muddled jalapeño peppers, agave syrup, and lime juice, the cocktail is shaken and served on the rocks and then garnished indulgently with four golden and crispy Delimex Taquitos, jalapeño peppers, lime, and a crunchy celery stalk. And to balance out the spicier flavor notes and take the experience to the next level, the Taquito-rita is topped with a light and mellow sour cream foam. Sip it straight or dip your taquitos right in the froth!” As you can see, that sounds like the most unique drink I’ve ever heard of yet one I’m dying to try.
Whether you’re looking to partake or not, you can enjoy this unique drink at New York City’s Refinery Rooftop from 5-7 pm on July 24th. If you’re heading there, the experience will cost you $20.00 but you can also order the kit to make it yourself at home via GoPuff. Either way, you’ll still be able to experience a Taquito-rita which is a drink unlike any other.
Regardless if you’re a fan of Delimex Taquitos or JAJA Tequila, I feel like you can’t go wrong in either making your own Taquito-rita or making another drink with JAJA Tequila. Of course, you always want to finish it off with a plate of delicious Delimex Taquitos. There really is nothing better than pairing your favorite snack with a refreshing and cool drink like a Taquito-rita.
What do you think, Guilty Eaters? Will you be ordering or making your own Taquito-rita?
