If you ask a million different people to describe Taco Bell in two words, you’re bound to get a million different answers; however, when it comes to what the most recognizable menu item is from there, that’s without a doubt, a Baja Blast. There’s one T-Bell location, out in East Detroit, that is making going there feel like an elegant bougie trip to your favorite luxury store. The best part of the whole experience is that they’ve got their very own Baja Blast Fountain out in the front of their store, near the drive-thru line.

I’d travel there just to see it! Have you?

How bougie is this Taco Bell? Let’s dive deeper into the Baja Blast Fountain!

The formerly Taco Bell-exclusive, Baja Blast, first debuted in 2004 and has been nothing short of a fan favorite ever since. You can now buy it in stores from liter and 2-liter bottles to 12-packs of cans, so just in case you’re not going to T-Bell anytime soon, you can always have a Baja in the comfort of your own home.

Now, onto another topic: chocolate fountains. You might be asking yourself how this has anything to relate to Taco Bell. Think of this: remove the chocolate and add in some Mountain Dew Baja Blast instead! That’s exactly what a Grosse Point location did out in Detroit, Michigan. Thanks to this TikTok, it has now been dubbed the bougiest Taco Bell location out there, and we just simply can’t argue with that.

Besides the delicious, dive into-worthy soda fountain (literally) out front, there’s also a few other features to this location that seems to set it apart from the rest. For one, it’s a carry-out only restaurant and as confirmed by one current employee, is definitely easy on the eyes, when it comes to what the outside of the store looks like. In addition, it has a patio area where guests and visitors can gather, enjoy, and just overall have a great time together. They’ve also got 6 separate touch-screen ordering kiosks where guests can place their orders and then patiently wait for them.

A lot of people may blame the 2020 pandemic on many restaurants going to carry-out only; however, this Michigan location will be remaining this way for one simple fact: it’s the perfect place for people who are truly on the go and need something quick, some true fast food.

Personally, I think that more fast food restaurants should be like this, and maybe they will be in the future! What are your thoughts on such a concept?
